All About Our Artistic Art Classes...     
     Welcome to 3rd and 4th grade art class. Art classes run on a six day cycle for fifty-five minutes. In the fifty-five minute time frame, forty minutes is used for learning about art and creating art. Throughout the year, the students will be engaged in art history, art production, art criticism, and aesthetics. Along with these four PA state standards, the students will be exploring new concepts in the nine different areas. These areas include drawing, painting, illustration, crafts, printmaking, sculpture, design, art history, and art appreciation. The last fifteen minutes of the art class is set aside for journal writing. The students use this time to reflect upon their daily art activity in their journals.

     It is important to us that the children will have an exciting and educational art experience this year.
