The Physical Education curriculum consists of developmental motor skills, lifetime sports, team sports, team building and cooperation through challenge adventure education, and fitness activities. Through a combined battery of tests from The President's Challenge and Fitnessgram, physical fitness testing is administered each year.

Health Education provides knowledge that help in the development of attitudes, skills, and behaviors conducive to overall wellness. Health education promotes the value of health by teaching responsible decision-making that leads to the development of a healthy lifestyle.
Swimming
Swimming covers a variety of content and skill areas from the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program. Student's participation in water related activities promotes a relationship of physical activity, health and group interaction. The psychological, emotional, and social benefits provided through swimming contribute to a sense of well being and supports academic progress. The cognitive, affective and psychomotor elements are component parts of the total swimming program and are combined in the instructional process to provide a complete and qualitative effect upon the students.
